Annex 56 special session of the 6th International Building Physics Conference - IBPC 2015

Annex 56 will be the theme of a special session of the 6th International Building Physics Conference - IBPC 2015, that will take place in Torino – Italy, from the 14th to the 17th June 2015. (http://www.ibpc2015.org)

The International Building Physics Conference was born on 2000 and it is the reference Congress of the International Association of Buildings Physics (IABP - http://internationalbuildingphysics.org).

The IABP gathers researchers, professors and professionals of Building Physics from 36 countries distributed all over the world.

The IBPC Conference takes place every three years and is organized by well-known universities (University TU/e Eindhoven, The Netherlands, 2000; KU Leuven, Belgium, 2003; Concordia University, Canada, 2006; ITU - Istanbul Technical University, Turkey, 2009; Kyoto University, Japan, 2012).

The last edition was attended by about 200 speakers coming from all over the world.

The next edition, IBPC 2015, will be focused on the theme “Building Physics for a Sustainable Built Environment”. The conference will provide a forum for scientists, researchers and practitioners from all over the world to disseminate technical information, new ideas, the latest developments and to discuss future direction in the fields of building physics. Moreover, the conference is expected to create a platform through which stakeholders from all countries may exchange their knowledge, traditions and experiences.

About 900 abstracts have been submitted from 56 countries all over the world.
